Australian installation artist. Born: London 1946.
Education: Univerity of Melbourne, Ba in education 1977-80.

Pfaffs work has been exibited in major museums and galleries including the museum of modern art in New York and the Whithney Museum. A proffessor of art at bard College in New York, she received her MFA from Yale. BA in education, Melbourne 1977-80.

Awards: Guggenheim felowship 1983, Bessie award 1984.

During the 1970's, the installations of multimedia artist Pfaff are among the most widely recognized works to leave the then dominantly aesthetic of minimalism behind.
